Who can publish
  • Ages 18 to 30: Students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals.
  • Open globally: We welcome writers from anywhere in the world, from the region or beyond.
  • English, Arabic, or Mandarin: Translation arranged for accepted pieces.

Editorial standards
  • Citations: APA 7th edition. In-text (Author, Year) with a References list at the end of the piece.
  • Sources: Use verified, reputable sources. News articles, opinion and analysis pieces, government communiqués, embassy readouts, news agencies, peer-reviewed research, and think tank reports are all welcome. Anonymous claims and unverifiable assertions are not accepted.
  • Hyperlinks: Include source URLs for every digital reference. SGI editors verify each link before publication.
  • Originality: Submissions must be the writer’s own work. Pieces previously published or under review elsewhere are welcome. Please note any prior publication when you submit.
  • Voice: Third-person, analytical, evidence-driven. SGI publishes editorial analysis, not polemic.
  • Editing: SGI editors may suggest revisions for structure, clarity, or length. Authors retain final approval before publication.
